AI Notice

AI Transparency Notice for Plantry

App: Plantry

App slug: diet-planner

Last updated: June 18, 2026

This short notice explains, in plain language, how Plantry uses artificial intelligence (AI). It is meant to be easy to read. For full detail, see the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

The App Uses AI

Plantry creates your meal plans automatically using AI models. When you ask for a plan, the preferences you entered — such as your meal targets, budget, cooking equipment, dietary choice, and the ingredients or meals you like or want to avoid — are sent to AI models that generate a plan and related shopping information for you.

Personalisation And Profiling

To make the plan fit you, the system analyses your preferences. This is a form of profiling: it builds a plan around the choices you provided, and it may derive or infer additional information from them (for example patterns in what you like). This is used only to generate and improve the plans you request.

The Results Are Suggestions, Not Advice

AI-generated plans are suggestions and may contain mistakes. They may not perfectly match your preferences, prices, or what is actually available in stores. The app does not give medical or dietary advice and is not a substitute for a doctor or dietitian.

You remain responsible for checking your inputs and the results — in particular ingredients, labels, nutrition, portions, and food safety. If you have allergies, intolerances, a medical condition, or other special dietary needs, consult a qualified professional and do not rely on the app for safety.

Your Choices

You decide what to enter. You can review, change, or delete your data in the app at any time. See Data Deletion for how to remove your data, and the Privacy Policy for your rights and how to contact us.
